The Barcelona Internship Program is an eight-week summer program that provides students with the opportunity to work in one of the major cultural and economic centers in southwestern Europe.
By participating, students will have the opportunity to gain international internship experience in their field of choice. Students will also gain an appreciation for Spanish culture and have the opportunity to vastly improve their Spanish and Catalan language skills.
Guaranteed Internship Placement
Students will work with the program provider to professionally revise their resume, prepare for interviews, and ultimately obtain the internship they desire. Because of our industry expertise and proven track record, we have successfully secured internships for 99% of our participants.
Barcelona summer internships are unpaid and placements are made with an emphasis on balancing the needs of the student with those of the organization.
Summer Internship Housing and Transportation
The Barcelona Internship Program housing is located near the city center of Barcelona. The La Salle Bonanova Campus Residencia features furnished apartments, completely equipped with Internet access, beds, desks, and linens. Additionally, there will be on-site staff members who will live in the same building with the students to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.
After completing the placement process, participants will be able to complete a roommate questionnaire to appropriately match similar personalities. Rooms are laid out as single or double-occupancy.
Travel between the university campus and the Catalonian capital is fast and fluid, thanks to the public transport and motorways network.
Upon completion of the program students will have earned six units of credit under BNAD 393A. These units can be applied directly towards the Global Business Program or can be used as general elective credit.
