WHAT IS THE WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE?
In its eighth year, the Women’s Leadership Conference ( WLC) brings together outstanding women from the Eller College of Management, the College of Engineering, the College of Science and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. The event is specially designed to provide female students with a unique opportunity to build their communication, networking and goal setting skills that will better prepare them for their future adademic and career related endeavors..

Come to the Women’s Leadership Conference!
The conference will be held on April 3, 2010 at the Marriott University Park in Tucson. Breakfast and a networking lunch will be provided. CONFERENCE GOALS
Below are the goals that WLC 2010 wishes to meet for the participants:
• Create Vision: To expose students to women leaders and encourage students to visualize themselves in these roles and expand their horizons
• Offer Insight: To create an effective discussion forum that provides insight into career and leadership matters that students are facing
• Gain Experience: To involve students in team-building and networking activities that emphasize the importance of group work skills and effective communication
• Implement Plan: To provide students with the necessary application skills to take their knowledge and translate it into a workable plan for success
