What is your dream job?
My dream job would be to plan fundraisers and charity events for a large nonprofit organization like Make A Wish Foundation or American Cancer Society. Eventually I would love to have my own corporate event planning business.
What do you aspire to do in life?
I have always been passionate about helping the community and so I hope to have a successful career that contributes to helping make the world a better place. One day I also want to have my own family. I would also eventually love to have a horse and continue my childhood love for riding and showing horses.
What is your favorite thing about Eller?
My favorite thing about Eller is its sense of community. The faculty and staff are interested in helping each individual student achieve his or her goals and it’s great being in classes with students who are motivated and have similar interests.
Why did you choose Eller?
When I first visited Eller during my junior year of high school, I immediately felt welcomed and comfortable. I was able to picture myself attending the college. Eller’s great reputation, faculty, and location helped me decide to attend.
Who is your favorite Eller professor?
My ECON 200 lecturer, Dr. Cramer, has been my favorite professor at Eller. She was always enthusiastic and incorporated creative examples and practical application into her lectures, making class enjoyable and worthwhile.
Describe a great internship you've had:
My current internship as the Eller Undergraduate student event coordinator has been a great experience in allowing me to explore my future career choice. My responsibilities include calling caterers, helping to select venues for events, creating marketing materials for events, and organizing other miscellaneous details for events. I help plan events such as Eller College Philanthropy, BNAD Case Competition, A Night with the Stars, and Convocation.
