Social Responsibility : Eller Rodel Pipeline for Excellence

The Eller College of Management
is pleased to the Eller Rodel Pipeline for
Excellence program. Our goal is to disseminate
Eller's objectives of exceptional business
skills and civic activism into the community
through our brightest students. We are seeking
six highly motivated and community oriented
students to work with local middle school and
elementary
school classes. Eller-Rodel Mentors will receive
$500 scholarship for Spring 2006 upon satisfactory
completion of their responsibilities.
Eller-Rodel Mentors will teach career planning/business
basics curriculum for middle school students,
design a day-long
program for elementary school students, and
publicize and volunteer for various other
community outreach events through the Undergraduate
Programs Office.

above. Applications are due Monday,
November 14th by 12pm in McClelland 204, Attention:
Eller Rodel for Pipeline for Excellence. Selected
applicants will be notified Wednesday, November
16th about scheduling an interview. Please

Requirements:
- Junior or Senior Students with Professional Admission (any major) or outstanding sophomores
- 2.75 GPA minimum
- Strong background in student leadership and/or community outreach
- Availability for bi-monthly Friday morning meetings and approximately 5 hours each week for community outreach activities throughout the academic year.
- Reliable transportation to drive to school

to resume and one page statement of purpose
and turn into McClelland Hall 204 by 11/14/05
at 12:00 pm Noon.
- Letters of Recommendation
are optional or you can include references.
Please include if they highlight past community
involvement,
experience
working with younger students.

18, 2005
- Notification by Wednesday,
November 23rd, 2005.
