Professional Admission Application Process
Public Administration (BSPA)
- Meet all eligibility requirements
- Attended the Professional
Admissions Orientation and an academic advising appointment
- Turn in your completed application packet (to be submitted
no later than Tuesday, February 19th, 2008 at 12 p.m. noon)
- Student
Academic Progress Report (SAPR), or a complete set of transcripts
- Resume and cover letter which explains reason for pursuing
a public administration degree as well as personal accomplishments
and career goals.
- Complete your professional interview with
our Eller College Associates. (We will schedule this time
for you at your advising appointment).
Students are conditionally admitted to
the college based on 2 areas.
- All remaining foundation courses must be
successfully completed at the end of the semester in which you
are applying.
- A total of 54 units must be completed at the end
of the semester in which you are applying.
Writing Exam
All Eller College students, once admitted into the cohort program,
will participate in a writing assessment as part of the BNAD
314R course their first semester of the cohort. If this writing
assessment is not
completed successfully a remedial course will be offered for
those students to meet the requirement.
Differential Tuition Information
A professional program fee is assessed every semester to students
in Eller's undergraduate professional program. Fees are subject
to annual review and may change. During summer and winter sessions,
students will incur an additional $20 per unit fee for all courses
offered by Eller departments (both lower division and upper division).
